Setup & what gets synced
Create a separate private repository, then a fine-grained token limited to it with Contents: read and write. Enter the same repo, token, and recovery key on your other devices. Tokens and keys last only for this open session.
Notes, URLs, crates, OCR text, and small images are encrypted before upload. Large images are compressed; originals, audio, and video stay on their capture device. Local saves and exported backups are unencrypted.
Keep your recovery key safe. There is no key reset. Trash and exclusions do not erase GitHub history or copies on other devices. This is an early, unaudited sync implementation.
